Overview

This role works with BenefitMall customers on a variety of services from quoting, new enrollments, processing, ongoing customer service, to renewals.  Works with internal departments and external partners to accomplish goals.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluates client materials and medical records for underwriting
  • Provides quality information and accurate solutions for a defined scope of customer issues via telephone and email correspondence.
  • Determines when customer issues need to be escalated and uses appropriate channels to timely resolution.
  • Utilizes CRM tool to manage client workflow
  • Processes client records
  • Reviews policy rates and carrier information
  • Contacts clients regarding case review or requesting additional information

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent, with a minimum of one (1) year of related insurance industry experience
  • Working knowledge of medical conditions/terminology and insurance products.
  • Experience working within software system tools to complete a variety of business tasks.
  • Ability to speak with clients to work through concerns and solve problems
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, Word, and Outlook Exchange; proficient in Internet Explorer.
